On major projects such as manuals (minimum 10 typeset pages), a client can obtain the full benefit of our Value-Added Approach at a discounted price on other second-language versions (Spanish, German, Chinese, etc.) when the deadlines for the third (fourth, fifth, etc.) versions follow that of the first language (usually, but not always, French or Spanish).
By staggering multilingual projects this way, our other-language translators can take advantage of the preliminary consulting and organizational work done on the first version, adapting the layout and annotations to their respective language and market. Each version of the project is laid out in a consistent, annotated and easily identifiable format for the client’s typesetters/artists. This approach helps to reduce the overall production turnaround and costs, while ensuring a higher level of quality materials in various languages for global markets.
